We were pleased to take part in 24 Hours in Farming which took place on August 10th.  This year we produced a short fun video showing how eggs travel from the hen to the home.  It featured our poultry feed and pullet specialist, David Hope, donning overalls and being put through his paces!

24 Hours in Farming is run by Farmers Guardian and supported by Morrisons, and provides a platform for everyone in UK agriculture to tell their story and show consumers just how much passion and commitment goes into producing the food they eat.

Last year’s event reached over 112 million people, mainly through farmers and farming businesses posting photographs and video (often live!) of them going about their daily work.  More than 15,500 posts were made.

This year the organisers are hoping for an even greater reach through farmers and agricultural businesses hosting on farm events and giving talks to local groups, communicating just how hard farmers work and just how important they are to the local and national economy.
