Humphrey Feeds & Pullets announced as Pullet Rearer of the Year for second year in a row
Humphrey Feeds & Pullets has been announced as the 2020 National Egg & Poultry Awards Pullet Rearer of the Year for the second year in a row!
The award was presented to our Rearing Director, Charles MacLeod during a virtual awards ceremony on 18 November hosted by Mark Durden-Smith.

The award is further recognition of Humphrey Feeds and Pullets long history of rearing high quality pullets to order, which today is carried out on 11 sites, ranging in size from 30,000 to over 100,000 birds.
The judges commended Humphrey Feeds & Pullets for their outstanding flock performance versus breed standards, the excellent level of communication between the company and its customers and their high levels of biosecurity and bird welfare.
The National Egg & Poultry Awards were launched to recognise excellence and innovation in the egg & poultry sectors. The decision to make this year’s National Egg & Poultry Awards 2020 virtual was in response to the Government guidelines and advice surrounding the coronavirus pandemic.
This prestigious award has never been won two years running before and Charles was naturally delighted to collect the accolade.
