The British Free Range Egg Producer Association (BFREPA) Awards were held on Wednesday, 15th November, in Telford, and Steve Marriott, Poultry Specialist from the Wynnstay Humphrey Feeds & Pullets team, received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his services to the industry.

Steve’s extensive experience throughout his years in the industry has given him a breadth of knowledge that’s almost unrivalled in today's egg sector. This, coupled with his infectious personality, has led Steve to form so many friendships across the industry. Steve has been a shining light in collaborative working, he has always been an integral link between industry colleagues.
Steve is due to retire next year after 50 years working within the industry and will be looking forward to some well-deserved time spent restoring old tractors and motorcars, and spending time with Gin at multiple craft fairs and with family, although I’m sure he’ll never really be too far away from our industry.
