The Feed Adviser Register (FAR) will launch the new “Find a Feed Adviser” tool within the FAR website on 8th June 2020. This on-line service is a new initiative by FAR and will allow farmers to find their nearest feed companies employing registered feed advisers.
All feed advisers have had the opportunity to register with this initiative and the uptake has been fantastic. The search results will not display the details of individual feed advisers but show the name of the nearest feed company offering advice from registered feed advisers for the required species within their area. From there, further details can be obtained as required from the individual company.
This initiative is in response to farmers asking the question about where to find feed advisers and also stakeholders who wanted to see more transparency within FAR.

With the impact of COVID 19 and the continued restrictions of movements, this tool will enable farmers to have easier on-line contact with their chosen feed adviser.
