The Feed Adviser Register (FAR) will launch the new “Find a Feed Adviser” tool within the FAR website on 8th June 2020. This on-line service is a new initiative by FAR and will allow farmers to find their nearest feed companies employing registered feed advisers.
The NFU has developed a food standards petition to ensure the Government does not undermine British farming and allow imported food into the country that would be illegal to produce here.

The big driver is currency. A lack of confidence in the Chancellor’s financial measures is reflected in traders behaviour. Prices have rocketed across the board with wheat, soya, sunflower, wheatfeed, vitamins all increasing. This is going to impact feed prices in the coming months. In parallel, egg prices are also firming up. A responsible approach by all will be essential.
